Big Day Out For Dogs

What an absolutely fantastic day we had at the 2017 dog event of the year, The Big Day Out For Dogs, (or TBDOFD in teenage speak), hosted by the team at Dogs Victoria. The weather was fantastic, the venue was great and the attendance was totally amazing!

We had a blast celebrating all things dog (and puppy)! The day was chock full of fun and doggy-related activities like agility, obedience, lure coursing, herding, earth dog and dog showing. Dogs who wanted to join in could try their paws at activities such as waggiest tail, the 'next top model dog', happiest dog, most spectacular trick, dog and owner look-a-like, or run in the relay race. (Waggiest tail was our personal favourite).

Pooches were spoiled for choice at the Canine Christmas Market with over 60 stalls selling all things dog. The delicious treats were flowing, with our free treats give-away being an absolute hit. Our shady cool relaxation station with fresh water and high value dog treats provided the perfect place to rest your pupper.

The day was not just for the four legged variety but two legged people also. Free face painting, jumping castles and deliciously creamy ice cream went down a treat with all the little mini me's running the grounds. 

Overall fun day was had by all, especially Peoples' Best Friend (Mans' Best Friend circa 1950s). We can't wait to do it all again next year!
